Younghusbands to leave FC Meralco Manila?

Phil and James Younghusband are reportedly leaving FC Meralco Manila to play for the San Miguel Davao Aguilas in the Philippines Football League.

League sources say negotiations are in the works to facilitate the transfer of the Younghusbands to Davao which is currently amassing veteran players to boost its campaign in the inaugural season of the new national football league.

The Younghusbands have been two of the pillars of the Meralco club since its days in the old United Football League. They have been with Meralco since 2011.

Recently the Aguilas have acquired the services of former Azkal and Ceres Negros FC mildfielder Jason de Jong and Global Cebu FC midfielder Matthew Hartmann.
